A Novel ZnO/Co3O4 Nanoparticle for Enhanced Photocatalytic Hydrogen Evolution under Visible Light Irradiation

In recent years, ZnO/Co3O4 nanoparticles (NPs) have been reflected as typical of the most promising photocatalysts utilized in field photocatalysis for potentially solving energy shortages and environmental remediation. this work, a novel NP photocatalyst was fabricated photocatalytic hydrogen evolution with visible light activity. NPs display an improved production rate 3963 μmol/g through five-hour test under This is much better than their single components. Hence, bare ZnO loaded 20 wt% Co3O4 present optimum efficiency (793.2 μmol/g/h) 10 vol% triethanolamine (TEOA), which 11.8 times that pristine NPs. An achievable mechanism endowed terms composite promotes operative separation charge carriers are produced by irradiation. study yields potential process future, proposing economical, high-function nanocomposites
